Opening times, term dates, funding & pricing

Willerby & Kirk Ella Preschool is open each weekday morning in term time.

3 hour session: 8.50am - 11.50am.

4 hour session (includes parent-provided packed lunch): 8.50am - 12.50pm.

The preschool is open an average of 38 weeks in the year, following the local school term dates. The 2024/25 term dates are below:

Autumn Term 2024

Opens Mon 2nd Sept - Closes Fri 25th Oct

Opens Mon 4th Nov - Closes Fri 13th Dec

Spring Term 2025

Opens Mon 6th Jan - Closes Fri 14th Feb

Opens Mon 24th Feb - Closes Fri 4th April

Summer Term 2025

Closed Mon 21st April - Bank Holiday

Opens Tues 22nd April - Closes Fri 23rd May

Closed Thurs 1st May - Elections

Closed Mon 5th May - Bank Holiday

Opens Mon 2nd June - Closes Fri 11th July

The Preschool accepts Govt. funded free entitlement hours for 2, 3, & 4 year olds.

The Preschool currently charges £7.00 per hour for private paid hours.

3 hour session: £21.00

4 hour session: £28.00

An invoice will be issued at the start of each term.

Please be aware that these fees are subject to annual review.

The Preschool accepts payments made through Govt. Tax-Free Childcare accounts.
